New Era has now provided fantastic service twice for my family. Last year, they fixed a longstanding issue with our basement sub pump. We had contracted another company, Simmons, to fix the issue three separate times before we contracted New Era. Our sub pump was not draining water and was overflowing, in addition to spraying water nearly 10 feet away because of a pressure issue. New Era quickly troubleshot, diagnosed, and replaced the pump after talking to them about the issue. Zero problems since, even in major snowstorms and downpours over the 2024 winter and summer respectively; the pump didn't even struggle with pumping water out.
Next, we contracted Simmons to fix our boiler, which was leaking water out of a relief valve in the aft section of the boiler. Once again, they came three separate times; the first time they replaced a bunch of parts on the boiler, and the issue stopped for about a half a year before water started leaking out again. The second time they came out, they determined they needed to replace the same parts again, but that they were concerned that there was back pressure causing everything to fail. When inevitably it once again failed and started to leak water again, the tech from Simmons determined that they whole system might be completely DOA.

Steve and Joe did a great job at ours! When several plumbers (other companies) failed to diagnose the source of the leaking issue we had with our boiler and changed the wrong parts, provided extortionate quotes for others, Steve took the time to diagnose the issue, provided a sensible explanation and proceeded to change the correct parts at a reasonable price. The service was courteous and helpful. We’ll use them again and very much recommend Steve and Joe at New Era.

The New Era Plumbing & HVAC team has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Our Gas boiler was broken and we had no heat. We contacted the New Era team and everyone we worked with were super helpful. Danny gave us some good options and estimates for the gas boiler and water heater replacement. He was very diligent and responded in a timely manner to get the work scheduled quickly. The team (Joe, Charlie, Modesto, Billy) were very efficient and did a great job replacing the gas boiler and the water heater. They also helped us fix two water leaks - one in the basement and the other caused by a shower drain. They were very polite and left the space clean after the work was completed. Shay from the team also helped coordinate the schedule. Overall, we are very happy with the service the team provided us! Would definitely recommend them!
